What counts A team you introduce to us in writing that becomes a paying client. What you earn 10% of recurring revenue and 5% of one-time fees on everything the client pays in their first 12 months. How you are paid In USDC, within seven business days of each client payment, with a statement showing how it was calculated. Ending it Either side can end the agreement with 30 days’ notice. They cannot make commitments or sign on behalf of DeFi Orbit. 03 ### Keep deal details private Client names, deal sizes and contract terms stay confidential on both sides. 04 ### Commission never touches the data A referral does not change pricing for the client or how any number is calculated. 06 / FAQ ## Questions referral partners ask Do I have to sell or run demos? No. Your part is a written introduction, by email or message, to a team you think should be using DeFi Orbit. We run the demo, scope the work, agree the contract and onboard them, and you’re kept in the loop as it progresses. Which purchases earn a commission? Any paid commercial agreement the team signs with us within 12 months of your introduction: Portfolio Enterprise, API contracts and Custom Data projects. You earn 10% of recurring revenue and 5% of one-time fees, on everything they pay in their first 12 months, including upgrades in that period. Are there targets or exclusivity? No targets and no exclusivity. You can introduce one team or twenty, and you’re free to work with other companies. Either side can end the agreement with 30 days’ notice, and commissions on clients already signed keep being paid until their 12 months end. How do I know my referral was registered? Your written introduction is the record, and we confirm it by reply so you have it in writing. If two people introduce the same team, the first documented introduction counts. Who handles tax on commissions? You do. Referral partners are independent contractors, not employees or agents of DeFi Orbit, so you’re responsible for your own taxes and reporting. Each payment comes with a statement showing the client, the amount received and how the commission was calculated, which makes that easier. Does the client pay more because I referred them? No. Commission comes out of our revenue, not the client’s price, and a referred client pays exactly what a client who found us directly would pay. Where can I see the full terms? In the referral agreement, which we send when you apply. It’s two pages, in plain language, and it’s the document that applies if anything on this page is ever out of date.
